La banda de metal progresivo Entropist, con base en Denver, Colorado, ha anunciado el lanzamiento de su segundo sencillo, «Intense Warmth». Este tema es el sucesor de su debut, «Creation», y ambos forman parte de «The Vision», el primer álbum de larga duración de la agrupación, programado para el 26 de junio de 2026. La producción, mezcla y masterización de este trabajo ha corrido a cargo del reconocido Jamie King (conocido por su labor con Between the Buried and Me y The Contortionist).
Entropist nació en 2013 en Greeley, Colorado, forjada por el vínculo entre compañeros de habitación y vecinos. Tras años de pausa, la era de la pandemia permitió que los miembros originales, Solomon, Jeremy, Parker y Matt, retomaran el proyecto mediante la composición remota. «Our goal from the beginning was to create something that truly felt like a journey, a piece of work that listeners could dive into and escape into for a while,» the band states.

Lyrically, it chronicles the story of a character who, faced with disillusionment toward their own world, begins to dream of the possibility of transforming it.
As Smith points out: «It’s one of my favorite songs because it just keeps building… the moment the listener hears the walls of vocals, it becomes clear they are experiencing something different.»
