Atanatos
Desde Inca, Mallorca, nos llega este grupo que practica un djent/metal/core con melodias industriales. Un gran descubrimiento para Atanatos del cual recomendamos la escucha sin prejuicios.
Bio del grupo
Zerobyte se forma en verano de 2010 en Inca.
Un nuevo proyecto de ideas claras: afinación grave y sin partes vocales melódicas. A partir de aquí se fue demostrando a través de sus canciones que no eran solo un estilo influenciado por el Djent sino que incluía también estilos que durante mucho tiempo han influenciado a sus componentes, como el Thrash o el Death así como matices más industriales. Influenciados en gran medida por el grupos como Meshuggah, Mnemic, Textures, The Interbeing, Scarve o Fear Factory entre otros.
Al cabo de un tiempo llegó la hora de grabar un EP. De la grabación, mezcla y producción se encargaba Pedro Martínez y de la masterización el ya conocido Miguel Ángel Riutort (aka Mega) en Psychosomatic Recording Studio.
El EP tuvo éxito y recibió buenas críticas a nivel nacional y también en U.K. e Italia, han realizado numerosos conciertos en lo que llevan como grupo, sabiendo llegar al público que les ha ido a ver o que les ha escuchado gracias a internet y redes sociales. Han compartido escenario con bandas como: Reptil-e (BCN), Overloud (Hungría).. y otros muchos de la escena local.
La temática de Zerobyte: letras oscuras, hablan de ciencia, de apocalipsis tecnológico, de cómo la ciencia y la tecnología se puede convertir en una arma y usarse en nuestra contra.
Hoy Zerobyte tiene preparado su primer L.P. el disco contiene nueve temas y se titula «9 Degrees Of Human Decline», grabado en Psychosomatic Recording Studios por M.Angel RIutort «Mega» y masterizado por Hay Zeelen (Sepultura,Prodigy…)
Group biography
The lines for the new project are clear: LOW tunning and NO melodic vocal parts. Starting from here, the band shows that their style and songwriting are not only fluenced by Djent, band members has been also fluenced by Thrash, Death, Industrial and bands like Meshuggah, Mnemic, Textures, The Interbeing, Scarve, Fear Factory and more.
After some time and some gigs was time to record, started with a 3 song EP recorded, produced and mixed by Pedro Martinez and mastered by Miguel A. Riutort (a.k.a. Mega) at Psychosomatic Recording Studio.
Zerobyte’s debut EP was succesful, aired on radio stations and obtained good reviews in Spain but also in UK and Italy,the band connected the crowd on internet and social media getting this way lots of followers who listened the songs and come to the many shows performed with local bands but also shared stage with outer bands like Reptil-e (Barcelona) and Overload(Hungary)
With dark lyrics, the songs talks about technologic disaster, science, about how all technology is used or can be used by the man against the man and the consequences of using it as a weapon to get control and power.
Today the band’s new album with 9 tracks called «9 Degrees Of Human Decline» it’s ready,It was recorded and mixed at Psychosomatic Recording Studio by Miguel A. Riutort «Mega» and mastered by Hay Zeelen at Zeelen Mastering.
