La banda brasileña de metal extremo Ophiolatry ha lanzado el videoclip oficial de «Death Tour», primer adelanto de su próximo trabajo de estudio, «Serpent’s Verdict», cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para el 6 de junio de 2025 a través de Wormholedeath Records.
Inspirado en la mitología griega, el video de «Death Tour» representa el viaje místico de un guerrero caído a través del reino de los muertos. Desde su descenso al Río Estigia hasta su llegada a las puertas del Hades, el clip retrata una poderosa narrativa de tránsito, aceptación y renacimiento, con una tribu ancestral aguardando en silencio la llegada de su nuevo espíritu.

«El guerrero pereció, parte de su cuerpo bañado en la sangre de los indignos. No suplica. No duda. Los ancestros susurran su nombre mientras su espíritu asciende, envuelto en el humo de los rituales. […] Desde las profundidades del Lago Estigia, la serpiente se eleva, sus espirales moviéndose como el propio tiempo»

The Brazilian extreme metal band Ophiolatry has released the official music video for «Death Tour», the first preview of their upcoming studio work, «Serpent’s Verdict», scheduled for release on June 6, 2025, via Wormholedeath Records.
Inspired by Greek mythology, the video for «Death Tour» portrays the mystical journey of a fallen warrior through the realm of the dead. From his descent into the River Styx to his arrival at the gates of Hades, the clip depicts a powerful narrative of transition, acceptance, and rebirth, with an ancestral tribe silently awaiting the arrival of their new spirit.

«The warrior perished, part of his body bathed in the blood of the unworthy. He doesn’t beg. He doesn’t hesitate. The ancestors whisper his name as his spirit ascends, enveloped in the smoke of the rituals. […] From the depths of the Lake Styx, the serpent rises, its coils moving like time itself»
