La banda de black metal melódico Argesk, originaria de Mánchester, Reino Unido, ha anunciado el lanzamiento de su segundo álbum, «Moonlight Pyromancy», para el 17 de octubre. Este trabajo será publicado bajo el sello Matriarch Records y busca consolidar el potencial que la banda mostró en su debut de 2020, «Realm Of Eternal Night».
Desde su formación en 2017, Argesk ha compartido escenario con bandas como Akercocke, Enthroned y Ghost Bath. Con «Moonlight Pyromancy», la banda ha evolucionado su sonido, presentando un trabajo con mayor profundidad narrativa y composición.
El disco, que incluye temas como la melancólica «Black Castle Waltz» y la épica «Wreathing Serpent», muestra una banda que ha explorado nuevas direcciones sin perder su esencia. El álbum culmina con la canción que le da título, y como bonus track, una versión de «Black Castle Waltz» con la participación de Dean Seddon, exvocalista de Hecate Enthroned, reencontrándose con el baterista de Argesk, Bob Kendrick.

The melodic black metal band Argesk, originally from Manchester, UK, has announced the release of their second album, «Moonlight Pyromancy», for October 17th. This work will be released under the label Matriarch Records and seeks to consolidate the potential the band showed on their 2020 debut, «Realm Of Eternal Night».
Since their formation in 2017, Argesk has shared the stage with bands like Akercocke, Enthroned, and Ghost Bath. With «Moonlight Pyromancy«, the band has evolved their sound, presenting a work with greater narrative depth and composition.
The album, which includes tracks like the melancholic «Black Castle Waltz« and the epic «Wreathing Serpent«, shows a band that has explored new directions without losing its essence. The album culminates with the title track, and as a bonus track, a version of «Black Castle Waltz« with the participation of Dean Seddon, former vocalist of Hecate Enthroned, reuniting with Argesk‘s drummer, Bob Kendrick.
The production of «Moonlight Pyromancy» was handled by Chris Taylor in recording and mixing, and by Chris Fielding in mastering. The album’s cover art is the work of Aghy Purakusuma.
