La banda estadounidense Deteriorot, un referente en la escena de death metal de Nueva York y Nueva Jersey, ha anunciado el lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum, «Awakening», programado para el 21 de octubre. El disco será publicado por Xtreem Music en formatos CD, vinilo, casete y digital.
Con una trayectoria de más de 35 años, Deteriorot, bajo la dirección del vocalista y guitarrista Paul Zavaleta, ha mantenido su sonido fiel al death metal de la vieja escuela. Con este nuevo trabajo, la banda busca ofrecer su propuesta más potente hasta la fecha.
El álbum se abre con la pista que le da título, seguida por «The Flame», que combina riffs potentes con pasajes agresivos. The American band Deteriorot, a benchmark in the New York and New Jersey death metal scene, has announced the release of their new album, «Awakening», scheduled for October 21st. The record will be released by Xtreem Music in CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.
With a trajectory of more than 35 years, Deteriorot, under the guidance of vocalist and guitarist Paul Zavaleta, has kept their sound faithful to old-school death metal. With this new work, the band seeks to offer their most powerful proposal to date.
The album opens with the title track, followed by «The Flame», which combines powerful riffs with aggressive passages. Other tracks like «Deliver Us From Fiction» and «Programmed By Fear» reflect the band’s raw and heavy style. The record also includes «Winter Moon», a piece the band describes as a sample of the most traditional death metal.
