La escena del metal tradicional siempre me ha atraído por su honestidad y poder. Y en ese universo, bandas como Temtris son joyas que brillan con luz propia. Con una trayectoria que se remonta a 2002, esta banda australiana ha construido un catálogo impresionante, manteniéndose fieles a un sonido que, sin ser puramente thrash, destila esa misma agresividad y energía. Ahora, con su octavo álbum de estudio, «Queen of Crows», siento que han alcanzado un nuevo pico de excelencia.
Desde el primer momento, la banda demuestra que ha encontrado su fórmula perfecta. La duración del álbum, de unos cuarenta y siete minutos, es ideal, permitiendo que cada una de las nueve pistas se desarrolle sin caer en el relleno. El disco es una muestra de todo el talento que la banda tiene para ofrecer.
La vocalista Genevieve Rodda es una fuerza de la naturaleza. Sus voces transmiten una mezcla de emoción, pasión y, en ciertos momentos, pura ira.
