Putrevore, el proyecto de death metal creado en 2004 por Dave Rotten (Avulsed, Holycide) y Rogga Johansson (Ribspreader, Paganizer), ha anunciado el lanzamiento de su quinto álbum de larga duración, «Unending Rotting Cycle». El disco se publicará el 11 de noviembre a través de Xtreem Music en formatos CD, vinilo, casete y digital.Con una trayectoria marcada por cuatro álbumes previos, incluyendo «Morphed From Deadbreath» (2008) y «Miasmal Monstrosity» (2021), Putrevore regresa con una formación que incluye al batería Thomas Ohlsson (Stass, War Magic).
«Unending Rotting Cycle» es descrito por la banda como su trabajo más pesado y extremo hasta la fecha. El álbum introduce al oyente en un ambiente de oscuridad y claustrofobia. Temas como «No Mourning The Grace» y «Mortal Ways Of The Flesh» ejemplifican la crudeza del sonido de la banda. With a trajectory marked by four previous albums, including «Morphed From Deadbreath» (2008) and «Miasmal Monstrosity» (2021), Putrevore returns with a lineup that includes drummer Thomas Ohlsson (Stass, War Magic).
«Unending Rotting Cycle» is described by the band as their heaviest and most extreme work to date. The album introduces the listener to an atmosphere of darkness and claustrophobia. Tracks like «No Mourning The Grace» and «Mortal Ways Of The Flesh» exemplify the rawness of the band’s sound. Dave Rotten‘s vocals and Rogga Johansson‘s riffs, on tracks like «Cult Of The Tentacle» are central elements of the musical proposal.
The album was mixed and mastered by Alejandro Lobo of Avulsedat Acordica Studios, aiming for a crushing sonic impact. The cover art is the work of Lucretia Morti.
