Tras el aclamado «Úpal» de 2023, que combinaba black metal técnico con folk de Oriente Medio, Kostnatění ha integrado nuevas influencias en su propuesta. En «Přílišnost (Excess)», la banda utiliza una afinación alternativa única para sus característicos riffs progresivos, mezclándolos con géneros de metal más tradicionales y sintetizadores para crear sus composiciones más intensas hasta la fecha.
Líricamente, el álbum continúa con los temas introspectivos de la banda, centrándose en la destructiva búsqueda de la autoperfección y el exceso.
The progressive/extreme metal band from Minneapolis, Kostnatění, has released «Křehký bůh (Fragile God)» (Fragile God), the second single from their forthcoming third album, «Přílišnost (Excess)» (Excess). The album will be released by Willowtip on November 7 in CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital format.
Following the acclaimed «Úpal» of 2023, which combined technical black metal with Middle Eastern folk, Kostnatění has integrated new influences into their proposal. In «Přílišnost (Excess)» the band uses a unique alt-tuning for their characteristic progressive riffs, mixing them with more traditional metal genres and synthesizers to create their most intense compositions to date.
Lyrically, the album continues with the band’s introspective themes, focusing on the destructive pursuit of self-perfection and excess.
