Thus Defiled, una de las bandas pioneras de la escena británica de black metal de los años 90, verá reeditados sus dos primeros álbumes de larga duración. Vic Records lanzará las versiones restauradas y remasterizadas de «Through The Impure Veil Of Dawn» (1995) y «Wings Of The Nightstorm» (1997) el próximo 28 de noviembre.
Fundada en 1993, Thus Defiled se estableció en el underground con sus demos «Blasphemous Coven» y «Enchanted By The Dark One».
- «Through The Impure Veil Of Dawn» (1995): Este debut se caracteriza por su salvajismo primal y una atmósfera épica, marcando la llegada de la banda con un sonido crudo y ambicioso, ejemplificado en temas como «Fear Us For We Are The Darkness».

Thus Defiled, one of the pioneering bands of the British black metal scene of the 90s, will see their first two full-length albums re-released. Vic Records will launch the restored and remastered versions of «Through The Impure Veil Of Dawn» (1995) and «Wings Of The Nightstorm» (1997) next November 28.
Founded in 1993, Thus Defiled established themselves in the underground with their demos «Blasphemous Coven» and «Enchanted By The Dark One».
- «Through The Impure Veil Of Dawn» (1995): This debut is characterized by its primal savagery and an epic atmosphere, marking the band’s arrival with a raw and ambitious sound, exemplified in tracks like «Fear Us For We Are The Darkness».
- «Wings Of The Nightstorm» (1997): The successor showed a significant evolution. The band began to crystallize the sound they would become known for: a sharp, melodic, and complex attack, evident in tracks like «Empire Of Souls Bleeding».
Both re-releases have been restored and remastered by Thus Defiled‘s frontman, Paul C., and will include extensive liner notes from Pim Blankenstein of Officium Triste. Additionally, they will contain bonus tracksdrawn from recently discovered 1994 rehearsal tapes, which include unreleased material.
The re-releases offer an opportunity to revisit the early artefacts of a fundamental band in the history of British black metal.
