La formación de melodic death/thrash metal Legionary, con base en Nueva Jersey, ha presentado oficialmente el lyric video de su nuevo sencillo, «Controllers of Perception». Este tema supone el segundo adelanto de su esperado álbum de larga duración, «Never-Ending Quest for Purpose».
Frank D’Erasmo, fundador, compositor y multiinstrumentista del proyecto, ha compartido detalles sobre la dirección sonora de este nuevo trabajo discográfico:
«Este álbum es una continuación del camino que trazamos en nuestro anterior EP, «Prison Realm». Para los seguidores de ese trabajo, este disco mantiene el estilo, ¡pero potenciado al máximo! Todo suena más pesado, épico y masivo. Contamos con el mismo equipo de la última entrega, pero la gran incorporación esta vez ha sido el ingeniero de mezcla, Mike Low. ¡Legionary nunca había sonado tan grande!»
Aunque Legionary nació en Nueva York como una banda de directo, en la actualidad funciona como un ambicioso proyecto de estudio liderado por D’Erasmo, quien se encarga de la batería y la guitarra rítmica. Para este lanzamiento, ha vuelto a rodearse de músicos de primer nivel:

The New Jersey-based melodic death/thrash metal outfit Legionary has officially presented the lyric video for their new single, «Controllers of Perception». This track serves as the second preview of their highly anticipated full-length album, «Never-Ending Quest for Purpose».
Frank D’Erasmo, founder, composer, and multi-instrumentalist of the project, shared details regarding the sonic direction of this new record:
«This album is a continuation of the path we forged on our previous EP, ‘Prison Realm’. For fans of that work, this record maintains the style, but turned up to the max! Everything sounds heavier, more epic, and massive. We have the same team as the last release, but the big addition this time was mixing engineer Mike Low. Legionary has never sounded this huge!»
While Legionary was born in New York as a live band, it currently operates as an ambitious studio project led by D’Erasmo, who handles drums and rhythmic guitars. For this release, he has once again surrounded himself with top-tier musicians:
