El Muerto es el alter ego de un multiinstrumentista con experiencia en diversas escenas musicales internacionales (como Sekhmet en México y Conscious Comma en Australia). El proyecto, concebido en medio de una crisis personal, se ha transformado en un testimonio de supervivencia.
El EP «Lost and Amsterdamned» se caracteriza por un sonido feroz que fusiona el extreme metal de la vieja escuela con una visión cinematográfica, influenciada por bandas como Immortal, Darkthrone, Mgła, Opeth y Emperor. La batería y el bajo fueron interpretados por músicos invitados de las bandas Norse y Adarrak.
El álbum fue mezclado por el productor Tomas Skogsberg en Sunlight Studios (Suecia) y masterizado por Ricardo Botello.
El Muerto, the one-man Black/Death Metal project originating from the Netherlands, has released the music video for its second single, «Wolves of Den Haag» This track is a preview of its forthcoming debut EP, «Lost and Amsterdamned»
The song «Wolves of Den Haag» is inspired by the cannibalistic murder of the Dutch statesman Johan de Witt in 1672, using this historical event to draw parallels with contemporary betrayal and societal rage.

The album was mixed by producer Tomas Skogsberg at Sunlight Studios (Sweden) and mastered by Ricardo Botello.
