La formación polaca Źrenice ha anunciado oficialmente el lanzamiento de su álbum debut, titulado «Śnienie», el cual verá la luz el próximo 18 de marzo de 2026 bajo el sello Via Nocturna. Como adelanto, la banda ha presentado su segundo sencillo, «Neuroza».
El concepto de Źrenice surgió en junio de 2022, tras la disolución de un proyecto previo integrado por cuatro de los actuales miembros del grupo. Decididos a explorar nuevos horizontes, los músicos dedicaron los meses siguientes a cimentar las bases instrumentales de su sonido. En 2024, la incorporación de la vocalista Kamila proporcionó el impulso definitivo para completar el proceso creativo de su primera obra de larga duración.
En «Śnienie», Źrenice forja una identidad sonora distintiva que entrelaza con maestría diversos géneros:
Base Alternativa: Rock y metal de corte atmosférico.
Intensidad Extrema: Elementos de post-rock, black metal y sludge.
Misticismo: Pinceladas de folk y una narrativa onírica que dota al conjunto de una cualidad casi espiritual.
El nuevo sencillo, «Neuroza», funciona como una pieza central del álbum. La banda lo describe no como una historia de victoria, sino como un testimonio del valor necesario para confiar en uno mismo y avanzar hacia lo desconocido.
Homenaje a Neurosis: Tanto el título como el riff de bajo inicial son un tributo explícito a la legendaria banda estadounidense Neurosis.
Concepto Lírico: La canción explora el enfrentamiento con una identidad anclada en el pasado y el miedo al cambio. En palabras de la banda: «El bosque simbólico se convierte en un estado emocional que conduce, a través de la resistencia y la ansiedad, hacia el cruce de nuestras propias fronteras. Aquí, el miedo no es solo una amenaza, sino un guía hacia el autoconocimiento».

The Polish outfit Źrenice has officially announced the release of their debut album, titled «Śnienie», which will be unleashed on March 18, 2026, under the label Via Nocturna. As a preview, the band has presented their second single, «Neuroza».
The concept of Źrenice emerged in June 2022, following the dissolution of a previous project comprised of four of the group’s current members. Determined to explore new horizons, the musicians spent the following months cementing the instrumental foundations of their sound. In 2024, the addition of vocalist Kamila provided the definitive momentum to complete the creative process of their first full-length work.
In «Śnienie», Źrenice forges a distinctive sonic identity that masterfully intertwines various genres:
Alternative Base: Atmospheric rock and metal.
Extreme Intensity: Elements of post-rock, black metal, and sludge.
Mysticism: Touches of folk and a dreamlike narrative that grants the work an almost spiritual quality.
The new single, «Neuroza», serves as a centerpiece of the album. The band describes it not as a story of victory, but as a testament to the courage required to trust oneself and move toward the unknown.
Homage to Neurosis: Both the title and the opening bass riff are an explicit tribute to the legendary American band Neurosis.

In the band’s words: «The symbolic forest becomes an emotional state that leads, through resistance and anxiety, toward the crossing of our own boundaries. Here, fear is not just a threat, but a guide to self-knowledge.»
