El sello Wormholedeath Records ha anunciado la incorporación de Animal Rage, banda mexicano-estadounidense de groove metal, a su catálogo. La alianza marca un hito en la trayectoria del grupo, que lanzará su álbum debut, «Last Standing Man», el próximo 25 de julio de 2025.
Formada en 2020 durante los tiempos inciertos de la pandemia, Animal Rage surgió como una respuesta visceral a la adversidad. Fundada por Dave Coral (guitarra) y Abe Fënix (voz), la formación inicial contó con músicos de alto calibre como Izzy Cabrera (bajo), Carlos Licea (teclados) y el reconocido baterista Aquiles Priester (W.A.S.P., Angra). Con el paso del tiempo y la evolución del proyecto, la alineación actual se consolidó con Francisco Moncayo (guitarra), Paul Foschino (teclados), Gabriel Richer (batería) y Dimitri Gilchrist (bajo), configurando una propuesta sólida y fresca.
Animal Rage se presenta con un estilo al que ellos mismos denominan “Fused Metal”, una poderosa amalgama de metal progresivo, groove y heavy metal. Sus influencias van desde los laberintos sonoros de Dream Theater, la agresividad de Lamb of God, hasta las atmósferas densas de Marilyn Manson, moldeando un enfoque distintivo dentro del metal moderno.

Formed in 2020 during the uncertain times of the pandemic, Animal Rage emerged as a visceral response to adversity. Founded by Dave Coral (guitar) and Abe Fënix (vocals), the initial lineup featured high-caliber musicians such as Izzy Cabrera (bass), Carlos Licea (keyboards), and renowned drummer Aquiles Priester (W.A.S.P., Angra).
