La banda bielorrusa de death metal extremo Eximperituserqethhzebibšiptugakkathšulweliarzaxułum, conocida abreviadamente como Eximperitus, ha publicado su tercer álbum de estudio, Meritoriousness of Equanimity, a través del prestigioso sello Willowtip Records. Desde su formación, Eximperitus ha construido una identidad única dentro del death metal técnico y experimental, caracterizada por una ejecución implacable, estructuras complejas y una fuerte carga conceptual. Tras su debut Saṃsāra (2016) y el posterior Ecce Homo Triumphant (2018), la banda regresa con un trabajo que amplía aún más sus límites creativos.
Meritoriousness of Equanimity se presenta como el álbum más diverso y arriesgado de su carrera. En él confluyen las experiencias acumuladas durante años, incorporando elementos que trascienden los márgenes habituales del género. A nivel conceptual, el nombre y el álbum remiten a lo inefable e incognoscible, entendido como el origen oscuro del Absoluto y el camino eterno hacia su esencia. Esta idea se refleja tanto en las letras como en la estructura musical, con composiciones extensas, cambios constantes y pasajes instrumentales que refuerzan la sensación de trascendencia.
Origen y significado del nombre Eximperitus
Según la propia banda, el nombre Eximperituserqethhzebibšiptugakkathšulweliarzaxułum no procede de ningún idioma real, sino que es una construcción conceptual diseñada para representar aquello que no puede ser nombrado ni comprendido plenamente por la razón humana.
- El origen desconocido de la existencia, previo a cualquier forma, lenguaje o lógica.
- La imposibilidad de expresar verdades absolutas mediante palabras convencionales.
- Un camino eterno hacia la esencia, más que un destino concreto.

Belarusian extreme death metal band Eximperituserqethhzebibšiptugakkathšulweliarzaxułum, known as Eximperitus, have released their third studio album, Meritoriousness of Equanimity, via the renowned label Willowtip Records. The album is available on CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats, marking a decisive step in the band’s artistic evolution.
Extreme death metal beyond genre boundaries
Since their formation, Eximperitus have forged a distinctive identity within technical and experimental death metal, defined by relentless execution, complex structures and a strong conceptual approach. Following their debut Saṃsāra (2016) and Ecce Homo Triumphant (2018), the band return with a release that significantly expands their creative boundaries.
Meritoriousness of Equanimity stands as the band’s most diverse and ambitious album to date, combining extreme brutality with introspection, dense atmospheres and a deeply conceptual narrative that transcends conventional genre limits.

The album also answers long-standing questions surrounding the band, including the official pronunciation of the band name, revealed in the opening track:
