Burned In Effigy, the melodic death metal band from Chicago, has released the music video for «Masquerade» the second single from their upcoming album, «Tyrannus Aeternum».
According to the band, the song’s lyrics are inspired by Edgar Allan Poe‘s work The Masque of the Red Death. Musically, it is one of the fastest and most melodic tracks on the new album. The video, directed by Alex Zarek, seeks to reflect a sense of «romantic demise» while dancing with death.
