La agrupación ateniense Cremate, referente histórico del death/thrash metal heleno, ha presentado el lyric video oficial de «Human». Este sencillo es una pieza clave de su reciente EP, «Ready To Fight», editado bajo el sello internacional Wormholedeath.
Originalmente compuesta en 1993, «Human» ha trascendido su propósito inicial —una expresión de la angustia existencial de los noventa— para convertirse en un comentario sociocultural de alarmante vigencia. La obra funciona como una disección de las sombras que la sociedad contemporánea prefiere omitir: el miedo sistémico, el orgullo y la hipocresía estructural.
En esta nueva versión, Cremate explora la desdibujada frontera entre la biología y la tecnología. La banda plantea una interrogante filosófica sobre la migración de las emociones humanas hacia el hardware y los algoritmos. Según los integrantes, «Human» cuestiona la capacidad de la inteligencia artificial para procesar datos sin alcanzar jamás la esencia del «sentir» humano.
El EP «Ready To Fight» consta de cuatro pistas que amalgaman la crudeza de la vieja escuela con texturas oscuras actuales. El trabajo incluye tres clásicos reconfigurados y un tema inédito que cuenta con la colaboración de Marios Iliopoulos (Nightrage) en la guitarra líder. Asimismo, la pista «Die as You Lived» incorpora el violín de Lusty Apricot, aportando un matiz gótico al sonido brutal de la banda.

The Athenian outfit Cremate, a historical benchmark of Hellenic death/thrash metal, has presented the official lyric video for «Human». This single is a key piece of their recent EP, «Ready To Fight», released under the international label Wormholedeath.
Originally composed in 1993, «Human» has transcended its initial purpose—an expression of existential angst from the nineties—to become a sociocultural commentary of alarming relevance. The work functions as a dissection of the shadows that contemporary society prefers to ignore: systemic fear, pride, and structural hypocrisy.
In this new version, Cremate explores the blurred boundary between biology and technology. The band poses a philosophical question regarding the migration of human emotions into hardware and algorithms. According to the members, «Human» questions the ability of artificial intelligence to process data without ever reaching the essence of human «feeling.»
The EP «Ready To Fight» consists of four tracks that amalgamate old-school rawness with modern dark textures. The work includes three reconfigured classics and a brand-new title track featuring a guest appearance by Marios Iliopoulos (Nightrage) on lead guitar. Additionally, the track «Die as You Lived» incorporates the violin of Lusty Apricot, adding a gothic nuance to the band’s brutal sound.
