La formación francesa de black metal melódico, Galibot, ha anunciado el lanzamiento de «Euch’mau Noir bis», una versión profundamente reimaginada de su álbum debut. Esta nueva entrega será editada el próximo 20 de febrero de 2026 bajo el sello Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions, marcando un hito en la narrativa sonora de la banda.
El nombre del proyecto, Galibot, rinde homenaje a los niños que trabajaban en las minas del norte de Francia, región de origen del quinteto. Desde su fundación en 2023 por Thomas, Agathe y Clément, la banda ha establecido un paralelismo conceptual entre el carbón —materia oscura, cruda y visceral— y la esencia del black metal.

The French melodic black metal outfit Galibot has announced the release of «Euch’mau Noir bis», a deeply reimagined version of their debut album. This new installment will be released on February 20, 2026, via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions, marking a milestone in the band’s sonic narrative.
The project’s name, Galibot, pays homage to the children who worked in the mines of northern France, the quintet’s home region. Since its founding in 2023 by Thomas, Agathe, and Clément, the band has established a conceptual parallel between coal—a dark, raw, and visceral matter—and the essence of black metal.
«Euch’mau Noir bis» («The Black Devil» in the Ch’ti dialect) is not a simple reissue. This version revisits the imagery of a land scarred by industrial wounds, mining disasters, and a complex social reality reminiscent of the literature of Émile Zola.
