El proyecto chileno de black metal atmosférico e instrumental I Proélefsi, liderado por el músico y buscador de sabiduría ancestral M Eidolon, ha anunciado su segundo trabajo de estudio: «Ypógeio Vasíleio · Υπόγειο Βασίλειο» (Reino Subterráneo). Tras el éxito de su EP homónimo de 2025 aclamado por la crítica especializada como una «excursión musical fascinante y multifacética», el artista regresa con una propuesta que profundiza en las fronteras de la experiencia humana y lo sobrenatural.
«Ypógeio Vasíleio» articula una narrativa épica dividida en cinco movimientos que trazan el viaje de un alma tras el umbral de la muerte. La obra recorre los estadios mitológicos del inframundo griego: desde la orilla del río Estigia y el tránsito con el barquero Caronte, hasta el encuentro con el guardián Cerbero y los Jueces de las sombras, culminando con el destierro en el Tártaro, el abismo donde habitan los Titanes caídos.
A través de la atmósfera sombría de «Apochróseis» (Sombras), M Eidolon transporta al oyente hacia una realidad alternativa, construida mediante una amalgama de black metal crudo, una ejecución de guitarra magistral, percusiones atronadoras y una base de teclados melódicos. La música de I Proélefsi prescinde de las palabras, permitiendo que la instrumentación pinte imágenes vívidas y cree un ambiente de terror y asombro que no requiere voz alguna para narrar su grandeza.
Este álbum es el resultado de la visión personal y absoluta de M Eidolon, quien ha compuesto, grabado y producido cada aspecto de la obra. Al ser una creación de carácter individual, el resultado es una experiencia pura, sin diluir y libre de compromisos externos, diseñada específicamente para estimular el espíritu y desatar la imaginación del oyente.
El portal hacia el Reino Subterráneo será abierto por el sello Depressive Illusions Records el próximo 10 de julio.

Following the success of its 2025 self-titled EP—acclaimed by specialized critics as a «fascinating and multifaceted musical excursion»—the artist returns with a vision that delves deeper into the boundaries of the human experience and the supernatural.
«Ypógeio Vasíleio» articulates an epic narrative divided into five movements that trace the journey of a soul beyond the threshold of death. The work travels through the mythological stages of the Greek underworld: from the shores of the River Styx and the transit with the ferryman Charon, to the encounter with the guardian Cerberus and the Judges of the shadows, culminating with exile in Tartarus, the abyss inhabited by the fallen Titans.
Through the bleak atmosphere of «Apochróseis» (Shadows), M Eidolon transports the listener to an alternate reality built upon an amalgam of raw black metal, masterful guitar execution, thundering percussion, and a foundation of melodic keyboards. The music of I Proélefsi dispenses with words, allowing the instrumentation to paint vivid images and create an environment of terror and awe that requires no vocals to narrate its grandeur.
This album is the result of the absolute personal vision of M Eidolon, who has composed, recorded, and produced every aspect of the work.
