El brutal death metal indonesio ha dejado de ser un «secreto» para convertirse en una de las fuerzas más gravitacionales del metal extremo actual. Durante años, hemos observado cómo desde las profundidades de Java Oriental han brotado bandas que no solo entienden la violencia sonora, sino que la han redefinido con una técnica y una ferocidad que ponen en apuros a los veteranos de la vieja escuela occidental. La percusión de Rama es un martillo neumático perfectamente sincronizado con una pared de guitarras que, cortesía de Hendika, crea una atmósfera de «mal puro». Las transiciones entre la técnica pura y el slam más aplastante son fluidas, lo que demuestra que estos músicos conocen la dinámica de la agresión.
La «trilogía de la locura» que conforma el centro del álbum, «Dementia’s Embrace», «Eyes Of Madness» y «Eternal Lunacy», es, sin duda, el corazón palpitante (y sangrante) de la obra. Aquí es donde la confusión mental se traduce en un caos sonoro fascinante. Las guitarras tallan patrones intrincados sobre una base rítmica que no perdona, mientras Yudha, al frente, despliega un rango vocal que parece surgir de lo más profundo de la tierra. Es una interpretación desquiciada, visceral y, sobre todo, soberbiamente ejecutada.
La producción es otro punto a destacar. El trabajo realizado en Endless Gruesome Studio ha logrado que la claridad no sacrifique la brutalidad.
