La banda de deathcore y hardcore proveniente de Michigan, My Own Will, ha presentado «Rorschach», el tercer y último sencillo que precede al lanzamiento de su nuevo EP, «Misery», programado para la próxima semana.
«Rorschach» se perfila como una crítica directa a la hipocresía y a los individuos que construyen identidades falsas en busca de validación. Según el vocalista Dave Keoppen:
«La canción se dirige a los estafadores que predican algo en lo que no creen. El título es un guiño irónico a quienes fallarían un test que, esencialmente, no tiene escala de aprobación. Musicalmente, creo que es el tema más representativo de nuestra esencia, manteniendo nuestra línea habitual pero llevada al límite absoluto».
El vídeo musical oficial del sencillo ha sido estrenado en exclusiva a través de Slam Worldwide, y ya se encuentra disponible para su visualización.
El EP«Misery» ha contado con una producción técnica de primer nivel: la mezcla inicial fue realizada por Cody Stewart, mientras que la mezcla final y la masterización estuvieron a cargo de Christian Donaldson(conocido por su trabajo con Suffocation, Ingested y Shadow of Intent). Este material supone la continuación de su contundente álbum debut, «Left to the Flies».

«Rorschach» shapes up to be a direct critique of hypocrisy and individuals who construct false identities in search of validation. According to vocalist Dave Keoppen:
«The song is directed at the frauds who preach something they don’t believe in. The title is an ironic nod to those who would fail a test that essentially has no passing scale. Musically, I think it’s the track that best represents our essence, keeping our usual style but pushing it to the absolute limit.»

The «Misery» EP featured top-tier technical production: the initial mix was done by Cody Stewart, while the final mix and mastering were handled by Christian Donaldson (known for his work with Suffocation, Ingested, and Shadow of Intent).
