La enigmática formación británica Wyrdstæf ha confirmado el lanzamiento de su primer álbum de larga duración, «Primordial Bloodlines», que verá la luz el próximo 4 de septiembre a través del sello Apocalyptic Witchcraft. Este trabajo representa la culminación de una trayectoria que comenzó en 2017 y que ha cautivado a la crítica especializada por su capacidad para evocar un pasado remoto y salvaje.
A diferencia de otras bandas que exploran la era vikinga, el alma de Wyrdstæf pertenece a un periodo mucho más antiguo: las eras Paleolítica y Mesolítica. The enigmatic British outfit Wyrdstæf has confirmed the release of their first full-length album, «Primordial Bloodlines», which will drop on September 4 through the label Apocalyptic Witchcraft. This work represents the culmination of a career that began in 2017 and has captivated specialized critics with its ability to evoke a remote and wild past.
Unlike other bands that explore the Viking age, the soul of Wyrdstæf belongs to a much older period: the Paleolithic and Mesolithic eras. Their musical vision is a meditation on the primeval world—an environment where the first human beings coexisted with a majestic, unforgiving, and untouched nature.
Following the recognition gained from their EP «Great Migrations» (2021), the band has refined their unique amalgam of:
Layered throat singing and ritualistic chants.
