La banda madrileña de doom/death metal Sun Of The Dying continúa su ascenso dentro de la escena europea con el lanzamiento de “The House Of Asterion”, un nuevo adelanto de su inminente álbum A Throne Of Ashes, que verá la luz el 21 de noviembre 2025 a través de AOP Records.
Grabado en The Empty Hall Studio y mezclado y masterizado por Javi Félez en Moontower Studios, el disco cuenta con portada de Manuel Cantero y seis composiciones que condensan la esencia del doom más devastador, introspectivo y emocional.
Formados en 2013 por Casuso (guitarra) y Lavín (voz), Sun Of The Dying ha sabido forjar un sonido propio dentro del doom/death contemporáneo, donde el peso de la desesperación se equilibra con una belleza sombría y una producción impecable. En A Throne Of Ashes, la banda combina riffs monumentales, voces desgarradas y pasajes orquestales que amplifican su intensidad dramática.
El álbum se presenta como un monumento a las contradicciones del propio género: rabia, tristeza, desesperanza y catarsis conviven en un mismo espacio emocional. Cada tema explora una faceta distinta del dolor humano, desde la furia existencial de “Martyrs” hasta la melancolía hiriente de “Of Absence”, pasando por el abismo sin luz de “Black Bird Beneath Your Sky” y el tormento existencial que recorre “The House Of Asterion”.

Spanish doom/death metal entity Sun Of The Dying are back with “The House Of Asterion”, the haunting new single from their upcoming full-length A Throne Of Ashes, due out in 2025 via AOP Records.
Recorded at The Empty Hall Studio and mixed/mastered by Javi Félez at Moontower Studios, the album features artwork by Manuel Cantero and unfolds across six deeply emotional and crushing tracks.
Formed in 2013 by Casuso (guitars) and Lavín (vocals), the Madrid-based band walks the path of authentic doom/death metal, blending monumental riffs, harrowing growls, and orchestral arrangements that enhance the overwhelming sense of drama.
