Tras el impacto generado por su debut de 2024, «Reek Of Putrefaction On Excruciating Lust», la banda indonesia Vertiginous regresa con una propuesta que redefine su ferocidad sonora. Ahora integrados en las filas del prestigioso sello Comatose Music, el dúo compuesto por el multiinstrumentista Hendika Dwi Prasetyo y el vocalista Jossi Bima se prepara para lanzar «Incessant Affliction», una obra que supera a su predecesor en técnica, composición y brutalidad.
El rigor técnico de la grabación ha estado en manos del equipo de Endless Gruesome Studio (referentes en trabajos para Vile Desolation y Analtopsy), quienes han logrado una mezcla y masterización que potencia cada capa de caos sonoro. Following the impact generated by their 2024 debut, «Reek Of Putrefaction On Excruciating Lust», the Indonesian band Vertiginous returns with a musical vision that redefines their sonic ferocity. Now part of the roster of the prestigious label Comatose Music, the duo composed of multi-instrumentalist Hendika Dwi Prasetyo and vocalist Jossi Bima is preparing to unleash «Incessant Affliction», a work that surpasses its predecessor in technique, songwriting, and brutality.
The technical precision of the recording was in the hands of the team at Endless Gruesome Studio (known for their work with Vile Desolation and Analtopsy), who have achieved a mix and master that empowers every layer of sonic chaos. The visual department complements this macabre atmosphere thanks to the cover art created by Timbul Cahyono (Bvllmetalart), a regular collaborator for bands like Avulsed, Defeated Sanity, and Massacre.
«Incessant Affliction» will be officially released on August 7 through Comatose Music. With this work, Vertiginous not only reaffirms their position on the international stage but also issues a direct challenge to all acts within the genre: the bar for brutal death metal has been raised.
