El trío de death metal de Texas, Terror Corpse, ha lanzado la transmisión del tema de apertura de su próximo álbum debut, «Ash Eclipses Flesh». El disco será lanzado en colaboración con Dark Descent Records.
Terror Corpse se formó en 2025 y está compuesto por veteranos del underground estadounidense, surgiendo de las cenizas de la banda Malignant Altar. El batería Dobber Beverly describe el sonido como «death metal de Texas con afinaciones bajas, oscuro y violento».
El sonido del álbum, producido íntegramente por Beverly, busca fusionar un tono de guitarra influenciado por Celtic Frost con una grabación de batería natural y prominente, junto a voces cavernosas. Beverly no oculta las influencias de la banda, citando a Disciples Of Mockery, Incantation, Morbid Angel (previo a 2000) y, de manera crucial, a Celtic Frost, cuya influencia se honra con la inclusión de una versión de su tema «Into the Crypts of Rays» como cierre del álbum.

The Texas death metal trio, Terror Corpse, has launched the stream of the opening track from their upcoming debut album, «Ash Eclipses Flesh». The record will be released in collaboration with Dark Descent Records.
Terror Corpse was formed in 2025 and is comprised of veterans of the US underground, rising from the ashes of the band Malignant Altar. Drummer Dobber Beverly describes the sound as «low tuned, dark and violent Texas death metal».
The album’s sound, produced entirely by Beverly, seeks to fuse a Celtic Frost-influenced guitar tone with a prominent and natural drum recording, alongside cavernous vocals. Beverly does not hide the band’s influences, citing Disciples Of Mockery, Incantation, Morbid Angel (pre-2000), and, crucially, Celtic Frost, whose influence is honored with the inclusion of a cover of their track «Into the Crypts of Rays» as the album closer.
Lyrically, «Ash Eclipses Flesh» follows a dystopian downfall of humanity, narrating the conquest and enslavement of the earth by a race of mutant human corpses. The album’s artwork, which clothes this vision of the future, is courtesy of Shoggoth Kinetics.
The band will headline the Metal and Beer Pre-Fest in Denver on December 4.
