Los titanes del Death Metal «Cannibal Corpse», han anunciado detalles de su próximo álbum de estudio número 15 y que tendrá como título «Violence Unimagined».
El nuevo trabajo contendrá 11 pistas y saldrá el 16 de abril a través de Metal Blade Records. De momento podemos disfrutar de un adelanto de este trabajo con el vídeo del sencillo .»Inhumane Harvest».
El bajista y miembro fundador Alex Webster realizó el siguiente comentario:
“Realmente sigue el camino que hemos estado siguiendo durante algunos años. Creo que nos acercamos a la escritura de una manera similar la mayoría de las veces: cada uno de nosotros intenta escribir las canciones más pesadas y memorables que podamos. Queremos que cada canción tenga su propio carácter identificable. Viendo mi edad, me gusta decir que puedes ‘bajar la aguja’ en cualquier punto de uno de nuestros álbumes y decir rápidamente qué canción estás escuchando «.
Si bien sus métodos sigen siendo los mismos, hay algo diferente en Cannibal Corpse esta vez: tienen un nuevo miembro: el ex guitarrista en vivo de la banda, Erik Rutan (quien ahora se une oficialmente a Alex, el baterista Paul Mazurkiewicz, el guitarrista Rob Barrett y el vocalista George ‘Corpsegrinder‘ Fisher).
