El proyecto en solitario de atmospheric black/epic doom metal, Divine Sovereign, presenta el lyric video de “The Absolution”, el más reciente sencillo extraído de su próximo álbum conceptual, «Autaxia Chronicles: Dawn of a New Age», cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para el 9 de mayo de 2025 a través del sello Wormholedeath.
«The Absolution» constituye la tercera entrega de esta ambiciosa obra, y explora la compleja relación entre fe, resistencia y fanatismo. A través de una narrativa ambientada en el mundo ficticio de Autaxia, la canción relata el levantamiento de una especie esclavizada durante generaciones que, en su búsqueda de redención, forja una nueva fe como medio de unidad frente a sus opresores. The atmospheric black/epic doom metal solo project Divine Sovereign presents the lyric video for «The Absolution», the latest single taken from its upcoming conceptual album, «Autaxia Chronicles: Dawn of a New Age», which is set to be released on May 9, 2025, via the label Wormholedeath.
«The Absolution» is the third installment in this ambitious work and explores the complex relationship between faith, resistance, and fanaticism. Through a narrative set in the fictional world of Autaxia, the song tells the story of the uprising of a species enslaved for generations that, in its quest for redemption, forges a new faith as a means of unity against its oppressors. However, the track presents a critical warning: the religious fervor that unifies can also become a new form of subjugation.
Musically, Divine Sovereign delivers a composition of great atmospheric depth, where elements of black metal, epic doom, and blackgaze converge, giving rise to a cinematic and emotional sound.
