Praise of Death liquida la fe en la humanidad con su destructivo nuevo álbum: «Rivers of Gore»

(English Below)

Primal brutality and philosophical nihilism collide in the latest assault from Praise of Death. The German-Finnish death metal outfit has officially unleashed their new record, titled «Rivers of Gore», confirming that sonic devastation and thematic depth can go hand in hand. The material is now available for streaming and immediate impact across digital platforms and Bandcamp.

Recorded and mixed at Morbid Arts Productions under the direction of project mastermind Mark Raziel, the album captures the raw, crushing essence of the genre while maintaining the clarity required for a heavy production. The final equalization and sonic coating were handled by mastering engineer Ilarion Ivanenko.

The result is a monolithic wall of sound defined by heavy riffs, relentless blast beats, and an oppressive atmosphere that provides the perfect backdrop for the vocal performance.

Formed in 2024 in Augsburg, Germany, as the personal vessel of multi-instrumentalist Mark Raziel, Praise of Deathoperates as a two-headed entity following the strategic addition of Finnish vocalist Topias Jokipii, whose gutturals inject relentless hostility into the band’s core.

While built on the technical aggression and visceral impact of old-school death metal, the project’s lyrical framework transcends standard surface-level gore. After laying down its conceptual foundation on the debut release «Philanthropist», the band solidifies a narrative focused on existential horror, nihilism, and the collapse of the human condition on «Rivers of Gore».
