Tras el lanzamiento de su álbum debut, «Enthroned in Torment», el pasado mes de enero a través de Lethal Scissor Records, la formación maltesa de death metal Bound to Prevail ha presentado un nuevo videoclip con letras para el tema que da título al disco.
«Enthroned in Torment» sirve como una muestra perfecta de la propuesta intransigente de la banda, combinando una precisión técnica asombrosa con una agresividad incesante. El tema equilibra la complejidad de sus estructuras de guitarra con ritmos demoledores, consolidando a Bound to Prevail como uno de los nombres más prometedores del underground europeo. Su estilo logra conjugar la herencia del death metal clásico de principios de los 2000 con una pegada contemporánea que cautiva a seguidores de ambas etapas.
Desde su formación en 2014, la banda ha mantenido un ritmo constante de actividad. Su trayectoria incluye una sólida presencia en circuitos internacionales, habiendo compartido escenario con figuras como Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vader, Entombed A.D., Mayhem, Suffocation y Sinister, entre muchos otros. En 2024, el cuarteto entró en SpineSplitter Studio para grabar, mezclar y masterizar «Enthroned in Torment», culminando un proceso creativo que reafirma su posición en la escena europea.

«Enthroned in Torment» serves as a perfect showcase of the band’s uncompromising vision, combining astonishing technical precision with relentless aggressiveness. The track balances the complexity of its guitar structures with devastating rhythms, solidifying Bound to Prevail as one of the most promising names in the European underground. Their style manages to conjugate the heritage of classic early-2000s death metal with a contemporary punch that captivates followers of both eras.
Since their formation in 2014, the band has maintained a steady pace of activity. Their trajectory includes a solid presence on international circuits, having shared the stage with figures such as Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vader, Entombed A.D., Mayhem, Suffocation, and Sinister, among many others.
