Directamente desde California, el vanguardista dúo de metal extremo experimental Antania, formado por Doc Luna y Kali Mortem, ha anunciado su fichaje por el sello Argonauta Records para el lanzamiento de su inminente nuevo álbum de estudio, «The Unholy 33». El disco verá la luz en formato digital el próximo 16 de octubre de 2026.
Para calentar motores de cara a este lanzamiento y a su próxima y ambiciosa gira por el continente asiático compartiendo tablas con los titanes suecos del metal extremo The Crown, la banda ha estrenado el videoclip oficial de “33”, el primer single extraído del trabajo.
Con “33”, Antania reafirman su enfoque radical y singular dentro del black metal de vanguardia, la extremidad industrial y la electrónica experimental, erigiendo un asalto sónico implacable construido completamente sin guitarras ni bajo convencionales. Sintetizadores, frecuencias graves demoledoras, texturas distorsionadas y ritmos de naturaleza maquinal colisionan para dar forma a una propuesta tan gélida y mecánica como feroz.
Bebiendo de la influencia pionera de tótems como Dodheimsgard, Mysticum y Thorns, combinada con la pesada herencia electrónica oscura de Skinny Puppy y Ministry, Antania operan en un territorio fronterizo donde la hostilidad del black metal se funde con la precisión industrial y el diseño de sonido experimental.

Straight from California, the avant-garde experimental extreme metal duo Antania, formed by Doc Luna and Kali Mortem, has announced their signing with Argonauta Records for the release of their upcoming studio album, «The Unholy 33». The record will see the light of day in digital format on October 16, 2026.
To gear up for this release and their upcoming, ambitious Asian tour sharing the stage with Swedish extreme metal titans The Crown, the band has premiered the official music video for “33”, the album’s lead single.
With “33”, Antania reaffirm their radical and singular approach to avant-garde black metal, industrial extremity, and experimental electronics, mounting a relentless sonic assault built entirely without conventional guitars or bass. Synthesizers, crushing low-end frequencies, distorted textures, and machine-like rhythms collide to shape a proposal as frigid and mechanical as it is fierce.
Drawing from the pioneering influence of titans like Dødheimsgard, Mysticum, and Thorns, combined with the heavy dark electronic heritage of Skinny Puppy and Ministry, Antania operate in a borderland where black metal hostility merges with industrial precision and experimental sound design.
