Desde su formación en la ciudad de Breslavia (Wrocław) a finales de 2017, Hegony ha mantenido una hoja de ruta inalterable: revivir la esencia más cruda y honesta del death metal de principios de los 90. A finales de 2025, Hegony regresó con su EP «Deviations», una obra que exige atención y rechaza la escucha superficial. Este material no busca impactar de inmediato, sino filtrarse en el subconsciente del oyente con una regularidad obsesiva.
Producción Independiente: En un alarde de autonomía artística, el material fue grabado, mezclado y masterizado en el estudio privado de la banda bajo la supervisión de Herr, quien se encargó de toda la producción.
Identidad Visual: La portada es obra de Rotted Artist, conocido por sus colaboraciones con nombres como Baalzagoth o Codex Nero.
Atmósfera: Más que una simple colección de canciones, el EP construye un entorno de fobia creciente, decadencia interna y agresión pulsante.

Without gimmicks or digital overproduction, the Polish band has built a sound based on driving structures, heavy-duty riffs, and organic gutturals that harken back to the deepest roots of the genre.
