Desde el underground polaco llega uno de los proyectos más singulares y crudos de la escena actual: Woliera. La banda ha anunciado oficialmente el lanzamiento de su esperado álbum debut homónimo, «Bagienny Stan», que verá la luz el próximo 30 de septiembre de 2026 tanto en formato digital como en CD a través del sello polaco BRR.
Para calentar motores de cara a este lanzamiento, el grupo ha estrenado el videoclip oficial del tema homónimo, “Bagienny Stan”, rodado en los parajes de Leman Mountain (Piaszno) bajo la producción de Tomek Kuźma y Paweł Raubo de EternalFire.Art.
Fundada en 2021, la génesis de Woliera hunde sus raíces en la pasión compartida entre dos familias y dos generaciones de músicos curtidos en las trincheras del hardcore y el metal extremo polaco, como Krzysztof Sokołowski (de la emblemática banda de HC 1125) y Mariusz Wróbel (de Blow For Blow). Lo que comenzó durante la pandemia como ensayos informales en un sótano interpretando versiones de tótems del dolor como Paradise Lost, Anathema e Insomnium, evolucionó rápidamente hasta convertirse en una formación consolidada de death/doom metal melódico con claras influencias de la escuela escandinava.
Tras foguearse en directo desde 2022 en festivales y salas locales -compartiendo tablas con nombres de peso como Turbo, Betrayer, Schizma y los titanes neoyorquinos Madball- , la banda presenta una alineación tan inusual como compacta:

Para dar forma a esta armadura de pesadumbre y melodías oscuras, el álbum fue grabado, mezclado y masterizado por Tom Bishop en los Nest Studio de Katowice (Ballkick, Czesław Mozil, Tuff Enuff). El apartado visual corre a cargo de Bartłomiej Czajkowski (fotografía y portada) y Kuba Szajer (maquetación).

Hailing from the Polish underground comes one of the most unique and raw projects in the current scene: Woliera. The band has officially announced the release of their self-titled debut album, «Bagienny Stan», set to see the light of day on September 30, 2026, in both digital and CD formats via the Polish label BRR.
To build momentum ahead of the release, the group premiered the official music video for the title track, “Bagienny Stan”, filmed on location at Leman Mountain (Piaszno) and produced by Tomek Kuźma and Paweł Raubo of EternalFire.Art.
Founded in 2021, Woliera traces its genesis to a shared passion between two families and two generations of musicians seasoned in the trenches of Polish hardcore and extreme metal, including Krzysztof Sokołowski (from the iconic HC band 1125) and Mariusz Wróbel (from Blow For Blow). What began during the pandemic as informal basement jam sessions covering totems of grief such as Paradise Lost, Anathema, and Insomnium quickly evolved into a fully forged melodic death/doom metal outfit steeped in Scandinavian influences.
After cutting their teeth on stage since 2022 across local clubs and festivals sharing boards with heavyweights like Turbo, Betrayer, Schizma, and NYC titans Madball, the band presents a lineup as unusual as it is tight-knit:

To shape this armor of sorrow and dark melodies, the record was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tom Bishop at Nest Studio in Katowice (Ballkick, Czesław Mozil, Tuff Enuff). The visual aspect was handled by Bartłomiej Czajkowski(photography and cover art) and Kuba Szajer (layout).
