Los veteranos del doom atmosférico Pantheist han desvelado todos los detalles de su esperado nuevo álbum de estudio, «Uncanny Times». El disco verá la luz el próximo 30 de octubre de 2026 a través del sello Argonauta Records, editándose en formatos de doble vinilo de lujo, CD y descarga digital, consolidando un nuevo capítulo en su constante inmersión en la oscuridad y la condición humana.
Para abrir boca de este esperado lanzamiento, la banda ha estrenado el primer adelanto titulado “The Final Journey”, acompañado de un evocador lyric video. Según explica la propia formación, la gestación de este tema se remonta a hace quince años: «Compuse la música hace quince años y la guardé enseguida con la esperanza de encontrar un vocalista digno de cantarla en el futuro. Mis plegarias fueron escuchadas cuando Linda se unió a la banda una década y media después (ya se sabe que hay que ser muy paciente cuando tocas doom metal)». Tras dar forma a la letra a raíz de una profunda conversación filosófica en Panamá, la pieza se convirtió en el pilar fundacional y la monumental apertura del disco.
Construido sobre una escala épica, solemne y profundamente inmersiva, el álbum despliega una amalgama donde el peso instrumental más apabullante choca de frente con la reflexión existencial y la melancolía.

Atmospheric doom veterans Pantheist have revealed all details of their highly anticipated new studio album, «Uncanny Times». The record will see the light of day on October 30, 2026, via Argonauta Records, issuing in deluxe double vinyl, CD, and digital download formats, cementing a new chapter in their constant immersion into darkness and the human condition.
To whet the appetite for this awaited release, the band premiered the first single titled “The Final Journey”, accompanied by an evocative lyric video. As the group itself explains, the track’s gestation dates back fifteen years: «I composed the music fifteen years ago and shelved it right away in hopes of finding a vocalist worthy of singing it in the future. My prayers were answered when Linda joined the band a decade and a half later (as everyone knows, you have to be very patient when playing doom metal).» After taking lyrical shape following a deep philosophical conversation in Panama, the piece became the founding pillar and the monumental opener for the album.
Built upon an epic, solemn, and deeply immersive scale, the album unfolds an amalgam where staggering instrumental weight collides head-on with existential reflection and melancholy.
