La banda británica de melodic death metal Xenith continúa su fulgurante ascenso en la escena con el lanzamiento de «Killer Instinct», su nuevo sencillo y videoclip. Este tema es el primer adelanto de su álbum de estudio debut,»To No Avail», cuya fecha de publicación está programada para el viernes 28 de agosto de 2026.
Procedentes de Mánchester, la formación compuesta por Billy Hourigan (voz y guitarra), Karim Treifi(batería), Jamo Morris (bajo) y Casey Dennis (guitarra), irrumpió en 2024 con un EP homónimo que fusionaba la precisión del thrash con la contundencia del melodic death metal. Tras el lanzamiento del agresivo sencillo «Swim» y una exitosa serie de directos -incluyendo actuaciones junto a las leyendas del thrash Evile-, Xenith se ha consolidado como una propuesta de gran impacto en el escenario.
«To No Avail» prosigue esta trayectoria ascendente. Nos hemos nutrido de bandas como los primeros At The Gates y Opeth, pero intentando canalizar todo eso a través de nuestra propia voz».

The British melodic death metal band Xenith continues their meteoric rise in the scene with the release of «Killer Instinct», their new single and music video. This track is the first teaser from their debut studio album, «To No Avail», which is scheduled for release on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Hailing from Manchester, the band composed of Billy Hourigan (vocals and guitar), Karim Treifi (drums), Jamo Morris (bass), and Casey Dennis (guitar) burst onto the scene in 2024 with a self-titled EP that fused thrash precision with melodic death metal punch. Following the release of the aggressive single «Swim» and a successful series of live shows, including performances alongside thrash legends Evile, Xenith has established themselves as a high-impact live act.
«To No Avail» continues this upward trajectory. The album is built upon solid riff structures and a greater leaning toward a melodic approach, solidifying itself as a statement of intent from the quartet. Regarding the creation process, vocalist and guitarist Billy Hourigan comments: «Working with Cam Shuck on the mixing and mastering was fundamental to extracting the raw emotion we were looking for on this album. We have drawn from bands like early At The Gates and Opeth, but while trying to channel all of that through our own voice.»
