Devoratrix Mundi Omega Draconis
Serbian extreme metal outfit Ala has unleashed the official music video for “Kill For Satan”, the second single taken from their upcoming debut studio album, «The Dragon’s Return». This highly anticipated release is set for official launch on October 23, 2026, via international label Wormholedeath.
Far from commercial concessions, “Kill For Satan” functions as a dark, confrontational warning directed at those who meekly accept and defend the current reality—portrayed in the track as a prison forged by a false and deceitful deity. The track distills Ala‘s signature identity: a violent amalgam of blackened thrash, traditional heavy metal, and a suffocating atmosphere driven by savage riffs, relentless speed, and old-school raw grit.
Beneath its blasphemous imagery beats a message of insurrection: the return of a force poised to destroy the children of the false god and tear down the Demiourgos himself. The official music video translates this concept of defiance and destruction into an uncompromising visual aesthetic.
Founded by Damir Mirojević (known artistically as O. or Omadan IX, hailing from Serbian black metal act Kolac), Ala was born to unify an eclectic spectrum of influences: from the hypnotic atmosphere of 1970s krautrock and psychedelic rock to the most visceral aggressiveness of black metal.
Gested throughout 2025, «The Dragon’s Return» draws from sacred legends like Slayer, Motörhead, Mercyful Fate, Sarcófago, Dissection, Nifelheim, Destroyer 666, and Watain. The result is an album that weaves sharp riffs, psychedelic guitar textures, and dark ambient passages with themes centered on rebellion, primal instinct, and transcendence.
Taking their name from Serbian mythology (Ala, a serpentine dragon of incalculable destructive power), the quartet prepares to tear through the international circuit with a debut as savage as it is atmospheric. Devoratrix Mundi Omega Draconis
