La banda colombiana de black/death metal melódico Eshtadur ha anunciado oficialmente los detalles de su esperado nuevo álbum de larga duración, «In Darkness All Shadows Gone». El disco verá la luz el próximo 2 de octubre de 2026 a través del sello Rockshots Records.
Para calentar motores de cara a este lanzamiento, la banda ha liberado el primer adelanto audiovisual: «Into The Woods», un corte que sirve como pistoletazo de salida conceptual y musical para este ambicioso trabajo.
Forjado a lo largo de cuatro años de meticuloso trabajo, este nuevo larga duración incluye doce composiciones que cruzan las fronteras del metal extremo incorporando arreglos sinfónicos grabados junto a la Orquesta Sinfónica de Caldas, capas vocales complejas, cantos difónicos tuvanos (Tuvan throat singing) y pasajes atmosféricos muy marcados.
El líder de la formación, Jorg August, reflexiona sobre el proceso de composición:
«Trabajamos en este material durante cuatro años. Es un disco largo con doce canciones, arreglos sinfónicos, una orquesta real, muchas capas vocales y voces tuvanas. Por momentos se sintió como un rompecabezas gigante, pero todo encajó al fin. Estamos orgullosos del resultado. Un cuervo está llamando».
Conceptualment, el álbum funciona como un viaje unitario a través del misticismo, la transformación y la transmutación interior. En el centro de esta oscura narrativa se encuentra The Crow (El Cuervo), una figura chamánica que actúa como maestro y guía entre la existencia, la muerte y el vacíos. A través de este ente, el oyente se adentra en un proceso de aislamiento y autodescubrimiento donde las tinieblas dejan de ser meramente opresivas para convertirse en el único camino hacia el entendimiento propio.
El sencillo inaugural, «Into The Woods», funciona como el primer umbral hacia este universo interior, invitando a abandonar el ruido externo para adentrarse en la espesura del bosque de la mano de conceptos de filosofías contemplativas.
El videoclip oficial acompaña perfectamente este concepto, enfocándose en la figura de Jorg August siendo guiado por el cuervo simbólico hacia la primera dimensión de la narrativa del disco.

The Colombian melodic black/death metal band Eshtadur has officially announced the details of their highly anticipated new full-length album, «In Darkness All Shadows Gone». The record will see the light of day this coming October 2, 2026, through the label Rockshots Records.
To warm up engines ahead of this release, the band has dropped the first audiovisual preview: «Into The Woods», a track that serves as a conceptual and musical kickoff for this ambitious work.
Forged over four years of meticulous work, this new full-length includes twelve compositions that cross the boundaries of extreme metal, incorporating symphonic arrangements recorded alongside the Caldas Symphony Orchestra, complex vocal layers, Tuvan throat singing, and heavily defined atmospheric passages.
The group’s frontman, Jorg August, reflects on the songwriting process:
«We worked on this material for four years. It is a long album with twelve songs, symphonic arrangements, a real orchestra, many vocal layers, and Tuvan vocals. At times it felt like a giant puzzle, but everything finally clicked into place. We are proud of the result. A crow is calling.»
Conceptually, the album functions as a unified journey through mysticism, transformation, and inner transmutation. At the center of this dark narrative is The Crow, a shamanic figure who acts as a master and guide between existence, death, and the void. Through this entity, the listener enters a process of isolation and self-discovery where darkness ceases to be merely oppressive and becomes the only path toward self-understanding.
The inaugural single, «Into The Woods», functions as the first threshold into this inner universe, inviting the listener to abandon external noise and enter the deep forest guided by concepts of contemplative philosophies.
The official music video perfectly accompanies this concept, focusing on the figure of Jorg August being guided by the symbolic crow into the first dimension of the album’s narrative.
