La formación de pagan black/folk metal Tsar Stangra ha anunciado un cambio sustancial en su alineación junto con un nuevo rumbo musical. Tras una década de actividad continuada y el lanzamiento de su segundo álbum de estudio, Hymns of the Broken Worlds (editado a través de GlobMetal Promotions), la banda ha decidido reestructurar sus filas debido a la divergencia en los objetivos a largo plazo de sus componentes.
La banda ha expresado su agradecimiento a los miembros salientes —Cindy Tecca, Wayne Barr, Simon Vaillancourt-Girard, Samuel Paré y Olivier Vaillancourt-Girard— por su dedicación y trabajo durante la última etapa del proyecto.
Simultáneamente, Tsar Stangra ha desvelado a sus nuevos integrantes: Alexandre Guay (guitarra, también en Rite of Decay), Louis-Charles Drolet (batería, componente de Rite of Decay y Seventh) y Francis Wafer (guitarra). Tras cerca de un año de ensayos conjuntos, la nueva formación cuenta ya con más de treinta minutos de música inédita compuesta.
Fundado en 2007 en Québec (Canadá) y enfocado en la mitología búlgara, el proyecto evolucionó de formato en solitario a banda completa en 2014. Tras darse a conocer en el underground con su álbum debut Небесният ковач y participar en festivales como la Messe des Morts, la agrupación inicia ahora una nueva etapa conceptual y sonora.

Bulgarian pagan black/folk metal act Tsar Stangra has announced a major lineup overhaul alongside a refined musical direction. Following ten years of continuous activity and the release of their sophomore full-length album, Hymns of the Broken Worlds (released via GlobMetal Promotions), the group has restructured its roster due to differing long-term objectives among members.
The band extended their gratitude to departing members Cindy Tecca, Wayne Barr, Simon Vaillancourt-Girard, Samuel Paré, and Olivier Vaillancourt-Girard for their contributions to the project’s recent discography.
Concurrently, Tsar Stangra introduced their new members: Alexandre Guay (guitars, Rite of Decay), Louis-Charles Drolet (drums, Rite of Decay, Seventh), and Francis Wafer (guitars). Having rehearsed together for nearly a year, the revamped lineup has already written over thirty minutes of new material.
Originally founded in 2007 in Quebec City (Canada) and centered around Bulgarian mythology, Tsar Stangra transitioned from a solo vision into a full band in 2014. Following early recognition with their debut album Небесният ковач and appearances at events such as Messe des Morts, the band now embarks on its next chapter.
