La formación chilena de melodic death metal Projector ha confirmado el lanzamiento de su segundo álbum de larga duración, «Before the Last Light», que verá la luz el próximo 28 de agosto de 2026 a través del sello NB Extreme Recordings. Como primera muestra de este esperado retorno, la banda ha liberado el sencillo «Living Resources», un corte que ya se encuentra disponible en todas las plataformas de streaming y cuyo videoclip oficial ha sido estrenado simultáneamente.
Formados en Santiago en 2008 por el guitarrista Rodrigo Bocaz, Projector ha optado por un camino de paciencia y refinamiento compositivo, evitando las prisas para priorizar la calidad de su material. Tras la publicación de su debut, la banda logró hacerse un hueco indispensable en la escena chilena, ganando además proyección internacional gracias a sus actuaciones junto a pesos pesados de la talla de In Flames, Septicflesh, Obscura y A Canorous Quintet.
Lejos de buscar una reinvención radical, «Before the Last Light» funciona como una extensión natural de sus cimientos melódicos. The Chilean melodic death metal outfit Projector has confirmed the release of their second full-length album, «Before the Last Light», scheduled to see the light of day this coming August 28, 2026, through the label NB Extreme Recordings. As a first glimpse of this long-awaited return, the band has released the single «Living Resources», a track available now on all streaming platforms, accompanied by the simultaneous premiere of its official music video.
