Tras un prolongado silencio discográfico de once años, la formación polaca Morr ha reaparecido en la escena con el lanzamiento de su flamante nuevo álbum de estudio, «Kości zostały rzucone». El disco vio la luz el pasado 1 de julio de 2026 de forma independiente en formatos digital y CD, presentándose como el trabajo más agresivo y directo de su trayectoria. El lanzamiento viene respaldado por dos sencillos promocionales: el tema homónimo “Kości zostały rzucone” y “Trupi jad”.
Activos desde el año 2000 en Radom, los polacos han transitado por un largo camino evolutivo: desde la atmósfera de heavy metal tradicional con teclados de su debut homónimo de 2005 y los devaneos progresivos de su sencillo de 2007, hasta el profundo giro identitario de su entrega «Popiołem i cieniem… i wspomnieniem się staniesz…» en 2015.
Las composiciones de Morr beben tanto de los fragmentos oníricos y el reverso tenebroso de la existencia como de la herencia del thrash metal clásico. Para este nuevo capítulo, la banda ha integrado riffs dinámicos y abrasivos con la sensibilidad melódica que ya caracterizaba sus primeras referencias.
En el plano compositivo e ideológico, el grupo rinde tributo a la escuela madre polaca -tomando como espejo a gigantes como KAT, Hunter y Dragon-, sin perder de vista el pulso internacional de tótems del género como Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Death Angel y Nevermore.
En palabras de su líder, Daniel Klimczak: «Las nuevas canciones se inspiran en el thrash metal clásico, pero también reflejan nuestros gustos musicales y nuestras reflexiones sobre los aspectos más oscuros de la vida. Queríamos combinar la energía del thrash con el sentido de la melodía que ya estaba presente en nuestros primeros lanzamientos».
El proceso de grabación, mezcla y masterización quedó en manos del propio Daniel Klimczak en los FFF Studiosituados en Radom, garantizando un sonido nítido pero dotado de la crudeza necesaria para resaltar la pegada del material.

After an eleven-year recording silence, Polish outfit Morr has resurfaced in the scene with the release of their brand-new studio album, «Kości zostały rzucone». The record saw the light of day this past July 1, 2026, independently in CD and digital formats, standing as the most aggressive and direct work of their career. The release comes backed by two promotional singles: the title track “Kości zostały rzucone” and “Trupi jad”.
Active since 2000 in Radom, the Polish group has traveled a long evolutionary path: from the traditional heavy metal atmosphere with keyboards on their self-titled 2005 debut and the progressive leanings of their 2007 single, to the deep identity turn of their 2015 offering «Popiołem i cieniem… i wspomnieniem się staniesz…»
Morr’s compositions draw as much from dreamlike fragments and the dark side of existence as they do from the heritage of classic thrash metal. For this new chapter, the band has integrated dynamic, abrasive riffs with the melodic sensitivity that already characterized their early releases.
On a compositional and ideological level, the group pays homage to the parent Polish school—mirroring giants like KAT, Hunter, and Dragon—without losing sight of the international pulse of genre totems such as Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Death Angel, and Nevermore.
In the words of leader Daniel Klimczak: «The new songs are inspired by classic thrash metal, but they also reflect our musical tastes and our thoughts on the darker aspects of life. We wanted to combine thrash energy with the sense of melody that was present in our early releases.»
The recording, mixing, and mastering process was handled by Daniel Klimczak himself at FFF Studio in Radom, guaranteeing a crisp sound endowed with the necessary rawness to highlight the material’s impact.
