Eternal Drak estrenan el videoclip de «We Force it to Speak» y desatan su sexto álbum «The Violence of Time»

(English Below)

We Force It To Speak”.

Veterans Eternal Drak have struck the scene with the release of the official music video for the track “We Force It To Speak”. The visual piece serves as a statement of intent and the opening track of their brand-new sixth studio album, «The Violence of Time», released on July 17, 2026, via the Canadian label FirstWave.

The opening cut perfectly encapsulates the work’s central conceptual thesis: the idea that human attempts to explain reality do not clarify it, but rather distort it. In the band’s own words: «Trying to understand time does not reveal it. It distorts it… Truth is not discovered. It is imposed.» The music video amplifies this tension, pairing gloomy imagery with the song’s dynamic shifts moving seamlessly from acoustic passages to suffocating walls of distortion.

Conceived as a ten-track movement, «The Violence of Time» explores time not as a neutral medium, but as an active, hostile force eroding memory, identity, and causality. The songs function as fragmented reflections of a short story written by the group’s primary songwriter, Andres Martinez Torres (Drakar), centered on an individual who comes to accept that time cannot be described, only confronted.

Musically, the record is sculpted for old-school metal devotees who revere the raw edge of thrash, the darkness of black metal, and the severity of death metal. The current studio lineup features Andres Martinez Torres (Drakar) on vocals, lead guitar, and bass, alongside Michel Amyot on rhythm guitar. The release comes highly recommended for followers of genre titans such as Dimmu Borgir, Watain, Kreator, Motörhead, and Desaster.

Originally founded in Latin America in the late 1990s (specifically in 1997 by the brothers Drakar and Warhammer), the story of Eternal Drak has traversed distinct eras. After achieving early underground success followed by a period of inactivity starting in 2007, the band was reborn in Quebec in 2020 to pay tribute to deceased co-founder Eduardo “Warhammer” Martínez with the album «The Past Is Gone, A New One Is Coming». Since then, they have entered an exceptionally prolific era featuring the releases of «Drak Metal» (2021), «Shadow Storm» (2022), and «Imprisoned Souls» (2024), culminating in this new discographic milestone.
