La singular entidad de black metal atmosférico Enterré Vivant ha anunciado los detalles de su esperado tercer álbum de estudio, «黒獄 Kurogoku», que verá la luz el próximo 2 de octubre de 2026 de la mano de su nuevo sello discográfico, Transcendance.
Fundada en 2019, la banda se ha consolidado como un proyecto sin parangón en el underground europeo al entrelazar la enigmática y pujante escena de black metal francés con la esencia espiritual, histórica y topográfica de Japón. Tras curtirse con referencias como su debut «Shiki» (2021), el álbum «Shigenso 四元素» (2023), el EP «Les Bonbons» y su segundo trabajo de larga duración, «Akuzaï 悪罪» (primavera de 2025), el multiinstrumentalista Erroiak y el vocalista y letrista Sakrifiss regresan dispuestos a adentrarse en los infiernos más oscuros de Kurogoku.

Para dotar al álbum de la organicidad y el dinamismo necesarios, la mezcla y la masterización corrieron a cargo de Déha en los Opus Magnum Studio (conocido por su labor con formaciones como Angellore, Cult Of Erinyes y Nachtlieder). El apartado visual destaca por el uso de fotografías auténticas de la era Meiji japonesa para las portadas de las versiones en CD y doble vinilo, reflejando ese pulso entre tradición y modernidad que también impregna la música.
El lanzamiento, programado para el 2 de octubre de 2026 a través de Transcendance, estará disponible en formatos Double LP, CD y digital. Como aliciente para los coleccionistas, la edición en vinilo incluirá un bonus track titulado «Ningendō» (Version Vivant Enterré), donde Erroiak y Sakrifiss intercambian sus roles vocales. The singular atmospheric black metal entity Enterré Vivant has revealed the details of their highly anticipated third studio album, «黒獄 Kurogoku», set to see the light of day on October 2, 2026, via their new record label, Transcendance.
Founded in 2019, the band has established itself as an unparalleled project in the European underground by weaving the enigmatic and thriving French black metal scene with the spiritual, historical, and topographical essence of Japan. Following impressive milestones such as their debut «Shiki» (2021), the album «Shigenso 四元素» (2023), the EP «Les Bonbons», and their second full-length record, «Akuzaï 悪罪» (spring 2025), multi-instrumentalist Erroiak and vocalist/lyricist Sakrifiss return ready to delve into the darkest hells of Kurogoku.
Conceptually, each track comprising «黒獄 Kurogoku» pays homage to one of the six realms of reincarnation in Buddhist teachings, where souls wander through an eternal cycle of death and rebirth dictated by their own impulses. Far from a mere theological exposition, the album intimately portrays the mental states that bind the soul to its eternal journey:

To endow the album with the necessary dynamic range and organic feel, mixing and mastering were handled by Déha at Opus Magnum Studio (renowned for his work with acts such as Angellore, Cult Of Erinyes, and Nachtlieder). The visual side stands out for using authentic Meiji-era photographs for the covers of both the CD and double vinyl editions, reflecting the tension between tradition and modernity that permeates their sound.
Scheduled for release on October 2, 2026, via Transcendance, the album will be available in Double LP, CD, and digital formats. As a bonus for collectors, the vinyl edition will feature an exclusive track titled «Ningendō»(Version Vivant Enterré), where Erroiak and Sakrifiss swap vocal roles.
