El dúo finlandés de death metal y grindcore Goatburner ha anunciado el lanzamiento oficial de su próximo trabajo discográfico, «Time of Danger», programado para ver la luz el próximo 9 de octubre de 2026 a través del sello Time To Kill Records.
Por primera vez en formato unificado, este lanzamiento de seis cortes recopila el material más primigenio y visceral de la banda, combinando en una sola pieza los EPs «Danger» (2022) en la cara A y «Time to Burn» (2018) en la cara B. El álbum traza de este modo los orígenes y la evolución de su inconfundible amalgama de death metal de la vieja escuela, sludge pesado y ráfagas de powerviolence.
Las grabaciones originales han sido sometidas a una nueva masterización este mismo 2026 a cargo del propio Keijo Niinimaa, logrando unificar el sonido sin perder un ápice de la crudeza y el espíritu underground que los caracteriza. Además, el apartado visual se completa con una portada pintada por el bateria Jaakko «Spider» Forsman, reflejando la atmósfera de peligro y asfixia que envuelve al disco.
Fundada en 2017 por Jaakko «Spider» Forsman y Keijo Niinimaa (vocalista de los legendarios Rotten Sound), Goatburner se ha consolidado como un proyecto con miembros bregados en formaciones clave de la escena como Ratface, Morbid Evils, Skulmagot y Pikakassa.
Tras un intenso paso por los escenarios durante el verano, el dúo se prepara para embarcarse en la prestigiosa y mítica gira Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour 2026. Durante los meses de noviembre y diciembre de 2026, la banda acompañará a los pioneros del grindcore Napalm Death, a los estandartes del death metal Master y a la fuerza emergente Brat, arrasando en más de veinte ciudades a lo largo de Europa con su masivo muro de sonido a dos piezas, con paradas confirmadas en Alemania, los Países Bajos, Suiza, Italia, Europa del Este, los Países Bálticos y Escandinavia.
The Finnish death metal and grindcore duo Goatburner has officially announced the release of their upcoming record, «Time of Danger», scheduled to see the light of day this coming October 9, 2026, through the label Time To Kill Records.
For the first time in a unified format, this six-track release compiles the band’s most primal and visceral material, combining the EPs «Danger» (2022) on Side A and «Time to Burn» (2018) on Side B into a single piece. In doing so, the album traces the origins and evolution of their unmistakable blend of old-school death metal, heavy sludge, and bursts of powerviolence.
The original recordings have undergone a new remastering this very year, 2026, handled by Keijo Niinimaa himself, successfully unifying the sound without losing an ounce of the rawness and underground spirit that characterize them. Furthermore, the visual presentation is completed with cover art painted by drummer Jaakko «Spider» Forsman, reflecting the atmosphere of danger and asphyxiation that surrounds the album.

Following an intense run of live shows over the summer, the duo is gearing up to embark on the prestigious and mythical Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour 2026. Throughout November and December 2026, the band will join grindcore pioneers Napalm Death, death metal stalwarts Master, and rising force Brat, storming over twenty cities across Europe with their massive two-piece wall of sound, with confirmed stops in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Eastern Europe, the Baltic States, and Scandinavia.
