(English Below)

Following the unleashing of their brutal split EP, «Rapture & Perversion», the joint forces of YHWH and Hessian have struck again with the release of the official lyric video for the track “Gravebound”. Far from empty metaphors or sterile flourishes, the track stands as a direct and visceral indictment of the gears of a society that commercializes obedience, consumption, and exploitation under the false banner of freedom. Driven by YHWH’s signature abrasive and uncompromising sound, the song functions as a screamed manifesto reducing human existence to a commodity bound to profit.

To understand the ethos of Hessian, one must trace their roots back to 2002 under the alias Madame Durant, moving through their era as Utuk Xul Commands Worship in 2004, followed by a period of inactivity. After dabbling in street punk hardcore in 2014, the project pivoted back to extreme metal in 2016. Upon signing with Wormholedeath to release their self-titled album in January 2025 -featuring Brandon Floyd on vocals, Wade on guitar, and Noctem on drums- the project morphed into a fluid entity spearheaded by Wade, who has operated through a revolving lineup of guest musicians.

For its part, YHWH represents the most hermetic and obscure side of this alliance. Formed in 2024 between Belgium and Thailand by brothers Schem HaMephorash and C. Bones, the band completed its lineup with the arrival of S.M. Goatritual in June 2024. Their discography has advanced steadily since debuting with the EP “Tetragrammaton” via Wormholedeath in April 2025, followed by “Khatha” that same year, with their eyes set on their third EP, “Baghavat”, slated for release on October 30, 2026.

«Rapture & Perversion» and this devastating track “Gravebound” are available now, cementing an essential journey through occult atmospheres, sepulchral riffs, and a head-on hostility that takes no prisoners.
